i just entered the above photo collage into pretty much the best contest in the entire world! A CUPCAKE PHOTO CONTEST! baby, i was born to win this thang.
check it: laurel mcconnell, a seattle photographer, features a weekly blog post aptly titled “cupcake thursday” wherein she takes a cupcake (delicious) and shoots it in a fresh, different way. it’s such a freaking good idea, i kick myself in the pants daily for not thinking of it first.
in honour of her birthday this year, she’s graciously opened up her cupcake thursday post to the winner of the awesome cupcake photo contest. i really, really, REALLY hope i win. not just cause i want to show my support for cupcake thursday, but also because the winner receives the new totally rad lightroom presets!
have you heard of totally rad photoshop actions before? if not, they are only the best photoshop actions out there for photographers. they take virtually all the pain out of photo editing and give your photos the little nudge they need to become fresh, fun, and cutting edge. i really can’t say enough good things about them. and every single one of my photos you’ll see on here has been touched by the loving hand of a totally rad action.
the lightroom presets have just just come out and i would love to get my hands on them.
